Methodology
Precision Is a Method.
Good assessment is less about any single instrument than about the discipline around it: a clear purpose, sound measurement, careful interpretation and responsible use.
01
Framework
Five steps from question to action.
Clarify the decision, the role and what must be understood.
Translate the question into dimensions, criteria and an assessment design.
Gather evidence through structured, consistent and appropriate instruments.
Read results in context, with qualified human judgment.
Turn insight into decisions, development and measurable follow-through.
02
Principles
The standards we hold the work to.
Eight principles shape how SwissNexa assessment programs are designed, delivered and interpreted.
01
Assessment design
Programs begin with job and context analysis, so that what is measured is relevant to the decision being made.
02
Measurement
Consistent administration, clear scoring rules and appropriate reference groups support comparable results.
03
Interpretation
Results are read in context, across sources, by qualified practitioners — never as isolated numbers.
04
Reliability
Instruments are expected to produce consistent results; reliability evidence is documented and reviewed.
05
Validity
Every use of an instrument should be supported by evidence that it measures what is relevant for that purpose.
06
Fairness
Design, norms and accommodations are reviewed for potential adverse impact across groups.
07
Confidentiality
Personal data is handled with discretion, purpose limitation and access controls appropriate to its sensitivity.
08
Human oversight
Analytical and AI-assisted tools support professional judgment; consequential conclusions remain with people.
03
Qualitative interpretation
Structure for what people say, not only what they score.
Open-ended responses and interview notes carry context that scales cannot. Analytical support can help organize this material into candidate themes; practitioners review, refine and reject them.
Where AI-assisted analysis is used, its output is treated as supplementary and is always reviewed. It is not used on its own to determine personality, intelligence, aptitude or fitness for employment.
04
Reference frameworks
